Modern Medicine

So I have only told a few people about or situation. But Josh and I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year and six months now. We have done all the tests on both of us and everything is normal and looks good. So we are seeing a fertility specialist in Salt Lake. We have come to the point were we think the modern medicine way of getting pregnant is the next step we need to take. I wish it didn't come down to this and that we could get pregnant on our own the good old fashion way. But it doesn't seem to want to happen that way. So I have been going to countless dr. appointments and trying to figure out the best thing to do. So my doctor told us about an IUI, its were they put you on this medicine called Clomid. And they have you come in on a certain day to get a ultrasound to see how many eggs you have that are about to drop. And if you have 1-4 eggs than they can do the procedure. You give your self a trigger shot of HCG and come back in 36 hours later to do the artificial insemination. Last time I went in I had too many eggs, I had 9 the most you can have is 3-4. So we couldn't do it that month. So they cut my dose of clomid in half. So hopefully this month I will have the right amount of eggs so we can try the procedure to see if it will work!
